FLORENZ ZIEGFELD’S business card read “IMPRESSARIO EXTRAORDINAIRE. Born 1867 Chicago – Father German Immigrant involved in music and entertainment.”
Ziegfeld got involved in Vaudeville at a young age and by early 1900 was inspired by Follies Bergere, in Paris to bring the most beautiful girls to the American stage in elaborate theatrical productions, as well as such great entertainers as Fanny Brice, Sophie Tucker, Will Rogers, Eddie Cantor, and Bob Hope – just to name a few.

BROADWAY ZIEGFELD ENTERTAINERS

We are a spinoff of the Original Ziegfeld Club in New York organized in 1936. We incorporated in 1998 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and proceeds from our shows are donated to various charities, such as Kids with Cancer, Abused Women, Veterans, Hospice, Muscular Dystrophy, Children’s Hospitals, Special Olympics. We also donate our services for a show at the Veterans Hospital in West Palm Beach each December. Our core group of dancers and showgirls receive no pay and we rehearse every Wednesday from September through May.
In addition to our core group we have a Master of Ceremonies, singer, impersonator, and comedian.

MEMBERS OF OUR GROUP

Our present group has been together for many years. I like to say we are of “vintage age!” Our president, Rosellen Klopfer, has toured as a dancer in the US, Cuba and Canada, as well as being a Bob Fosse dancer and a performer on the Jackie Gleason and Milton Berle shows.

We have all been either dancers of showgirls for many years.

We perform a 90-minute show with four great production numbers with our dancers and showgirls, the great voice of Pete DeJesse, and comedian Ben Kurland, to whom you will be laughing yourself silly. Impersonator Billy Craig will certainly keep you entertained.

“So let us entertain you. Let us make you smile.” We promise you will have a good time!
