The push to explore the unexplored is all the rage in cruising these days and one of the biggest names in expedition cruising has a new polar class vessel in the works. Lindblad Expeditions, a leader in expedition cruising to the far ends of the Earth in conjunction with National Geographic, announced a new polar expedition ship set to be delivered in 2021.  The ship comes as part of a scheduled fleet expansion following the launch of National Geographic Quest in July of 2017 and National Geographic Venture in December of 2018. The yet to be named ship will come after the launch of National Geographic Endurance in the beginning of 2020, bringing the total number of polar class ships operated by Lindblad to four.  Lindblad Expeditions Looks to the Future  Sven-Olof Lindblad, the President and CEO of Lindblad Expeditions, believes the fleet expansion to be an integral part of the future of the company.
